At level 58, you can talk to Maat in Ru’Lude Gardens (H-5) and he will
tell you that he needs three
Crests from you in order to raise your
cap.

Make sure that if you are a non mage class to bring prisms and silent
oils.
3)
Head out to Davoi.
4)
Put up Invisible (make sure to keep this up at all times).
5)
Go to (H-11) and zone into the Monastic Caverns.
6)
Follow this to (I-8) and zone into Davoi.
7)
You’ll now be at (H-8).
8)
Head east across the bridge and then north to (J-8).
9)
If no one in your party has the Crimson Orb, one person must do this
quest (Skip to step 13 if someone
has the Crimson Orb).
10)
Talk to the TaruTaru to receive the Crimson Orb quest.
11)
Now that person needs to examine each of the four ponds in Davoi.
a.
NW corner of (H-10) – Howling Pond
b.
NE corner of (L-9) – Wailing Pond
c.
NW corner of (E-8) – Screaming Pond
d.
Follow the River North at (H-6) – Groaning Pond
e.
When you dip the orb into the last pond, you will be Cursed.

Once you’ve dipped the orb in all four ponds, return to the TaruTaru at
(J-8) to receive the Crimson Orb.

Now head South to (J-9) and have the person with the Crimson Orb open the
Gate.
a.
This room is full of Orcs.
b.
You’ll have to drop invisibility in order to open the Gate.
c.
If you do catch agro, just head into the gate – the zone line isn’t very
far.

Once you zone into Monastic Cavern, just follow it around to (J-6).

Examine the ??? to receive the Orcish Crest.

Get some Echo Drops before heading out to Beadeaux.

You will only need Sneak for Beadeaux.

Now head out to Beadeaux and follow the path down to (H-7) into the 2nd
map.

Continue up the tunnel to (F-8).

If you are muted by the Mute Machine, you can’t be Cursed by the

Use Echo Drops to remove Silence AFTER you pass the Afflictor.

Once you exit out of the tunnel, you will be back on the first map at
(F-8).

Hug the right wall and proceed South until you get to the ramp at (E-10).

Go up the ramp.

Now head to either (K-7) or (J-7) and go down either ramp.

Enter the tunnel at (K-6) and you will be on the 2nd map at
(J-6).

leeches please (could get ugly).

There are several ways to get through this area. We will explore
the longest option, and then I will point out the
shortcuts along the way.

It’s smart to start this on a new game day, so the passwords don’t change
on you.

If you want to skip how to get the passwords off the statues, skip to
step 65 – you will be on the 2nd map at this point.

Head through the brass door at (H-8) and examine the statue inside the
room for password #1.

Now head through the door at (I-8) – the switch door – and head up the
stairs to the 2nd map.

Loop around and at the intersection at (I-8) head North.

Now head north and enter the next map at (I-7).

This will curve around, continue East, ignoring the path to the North.

Curve South and ignore the path to the East.

At the next intersection, go West (right) and follow this around to the
next intersection.

Now go West (right) and the room will bend to the North.

Follow this up and out to curve around to (G-9).

At the intersection, go East (Right) and keep on this path until you get
to the end at (H-9).

Now head North (left) and hug the right wall.

password #3.

Now turn around and go to (G-8) on the same map (just go south and at the
first right, make it and hug the North wall).

At (G-8) there is a 4 lever door.

Just play with the levers in different combinations until the door opens
(the answer is at I-10, but I suggest you just guess).

Once the door is open, make your way through it and follow the path
around to the next map.

Keep Invisible up and make your way through the room and onto the next
map at (H-11) – be sure to avoid the leeches also.

On this map you need to enter the Brass Door at (H-7).

In order to do this, you must first light one of the torches at either
(G-7), (H-7), (G-8), or (H-8) and then
run through the now opened door.

The door only stays open for a short time, so you will either need to
have someone light the torch and you run
through it, or have some kind of
movement enhancer (Nin AF Boots, Flee, Strider Boots, Hermes Quencher, etc), so
you can light the torch and then run
through the door yourself.

You can open the door from the other side, so only one person needs to
rush through the door.

There are usually 3 Yags in the torch room, so make sure they are facing
away before you drop Invisible and open the door.

Once through the door, you will see a plank with a red circle and a
statue.

Have everyone stand on the Plank and now examine the Statue.

You will need to input the 3 passwords in order and they are case

Once you enter the passwords, you will fall down to the lower level.

Now you will be in a corridor where you should see steps leading to a
central platform, this is where the crest is.

The ??? is usually guarded by a NM Yagudo, so be careful when going to
check it.

If in a group, send one person at a time.

Once you have the crest, go to a safe spot and warp back to your HP, or
Escape out.
